For anyone that is even slightly interested, I plan on taking commissions again soon... starting this summer. I am going to set up a website in the beginning of June and there will be more information about my prices on that. I'll give you a heads-up on my blog when I finally get it up and running. Here are a couple of portraits that I finished for a family in Goldsboro last Christmas.

Really wonderful! When you get up and running, I'll have you as a guest artist on visual-voice... if that's copasetic with ya.
Absolutely!
i'd say those paintings are quite copasetic. quite copasetic indeed. and can i get you to paint me something that will total approximately 20 bucks? cause that's all i got on me right now. but i'd love to change out this crap portrait of "jackson" for something a little more asthetically pleasing. i mean no offense or anything, but i think this artist was a little stuck on the color green. something the size of the 20 that will fit nicely in my wallet would be perfect. thanks windy. and thank you, vis voice, for teaching me a new word today.
I have to agree with you. Not only does the green seem overused and tired, but the artist gets carried away with the number 20. I think it's safe to assume he/she suffers from at least a slight case of OCD. If you turn the artwork over to the back, there are dozens of tiny, yellow "20"s spread around the border... although, you will only find these on the latest models. However, if you find this work appealing, I can happily borrow some of the same themes. Perhaps there's a number you're more fond of?
Okay, maybe I'm being a little over-analytical here Windy, but it sounds like you're considering taking up counterfeiting.
...Make that cream however you can, I guess.
