Chimeras

In figure drawing class, we were given an assignment to draw one or more human figures with some sort of animal trait or characteristic- so I went with the idea of attractive women being called "foxes" and drew women with fox heads... and then wrote Aesop's Fable- "The Fox and the Crow" underneath it.

is it wrong to think they're attractive?

i guess that just means you drew them very well.

and i keep looking at the title of this post like an idiot. what the heck do you mean by chimeras? cause i just did a dictionary search and came up with this:

chimera |kīˈmi(ə)rə; kə-| (also chimaera) noun 1 ( Chimera) (in Greek mythology) a fire-breathing female monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail. • any mythical animal with parts taken from various animals.

i just don't get the connection.

oh.... well- for some reason i thought that a chimera was a word for an animal containing human and animal characteristics... oh well.
