Kid Art: Foreground, Middle Ground and Background

















I used this painting by Cezanne to teach the first graders about foreground, middle ground and background. They drew their own interpretation of it, colored it with crayons and painted it with watercolor.

i think i have enough of an understanding of foreground, middle ground, and background to do better than these artists.
